In this adorable cowl, crocheted flowers bloom around your neck! Designed by Becca Parker for The Fibre Co., the Sea Garden Cowl is created with 18 crocheted squares, each featuring a popcorn stitch flower. The unique structure of the stitch helps each petal pop! The cowl is crocheted using a larger hook than typically called for, giving the finished fabric an airy, generous drape.
The Sea Garden Cowl was crocheted in three shades of Cirro, from The Fibre Co. This feather-light, sport-weight yarn is a blend of lustrous suri alpaca and bouncy, soft merino wool wrapped around an organic cotton thread. Brushed to fluffy perfection, Cirro is a strong, yet airy yarn that’s well balanced for body and drape. And it’s a great option for fuzz-lovers who find mohair a little tickly!
