The Design
“Soft shears.”
A fun little zig-zag detail at the edges gives this sweet garter stitch scarf a fresh finish. The shallow triangle is worked ‘both ends against the middle’—two identical pieces are knit separately and then grafted together at the center for perfectly mirrored halves. It can be knit to any size, so make a lavish wrap or a tiny kerchief!
We knit this version in mYak Baby Yak Lace—a delicate, lace-weight yarn tailor-made for shawls and accessories like this! Two plies of baby yak down are gently twizzled together creating a fiber that’s warmer than sheep’s wool and as soft as cashmere. Heathered earth tones, rich neutrals, and saturated colors round out mYak’s color set—soothing, naturally processed, and oh, so pretty!
