The Design

“Great fun with a cluster stitch.”

We discovered this stitch pattern in a vintage French knitting compendium. Reminiscent of tiny crocheted granny-square clusters, it's full of 'yarn overs' and 'lift overs,' so we dubbed it 'Over & Over'. Plus, it's so fun you'll want to knit it over and over again!

And now you have two gauges to choose from—fingering or chunky weight—as well as two sizes of loop: a 28"/70cm cowl or a generous 48"/122cm loop, long enough to wear doubled around your neck.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Cowl: US 7 (4.5mm) 16"/40cm circular needle, or size to get gauge.
Loop: US 7 (4.5mm) 24"/60cm circular needle, or size to get gauge.
Both: One needle 2-3 sizes larger for bind off; 1 stitch marker; darning needle to finish.

16 sts = 4"/10cm in cluster stitch in the round (count each cluster as 2 sts).
