Tiny glass beads sit like dewdrops on the gossamer web of this simple garter-stitch scarf. Lacy loops at the edges are created as you go with a yarn-over at the beginning of each row. But the real secret to the beauty of this piece is in the finishing. Slip blocking wires through each loop and steam press gently—transformation!

For this version of our Beaded Mohair Scarf, we chose the exquisite Silk Mohair 1 from Catherine Lowe. A lace-weight blend of 60% super kid mohair and 40% mulberry silk, this yarn knits up into a fabric of stunning grace and integrity. We’ve matched some glimmering Size 8 Seed Beads to shimmering shades of Silk Mohair 1—we hope you have fun finding a favorite!
